The Different Use of Another, Other, Others and The Others, The Other

1. Another

• Adjective + Singular Noun: I want another pen.
• Pronoun (Tidak diikuti Noun): I have eaten an orange, but I want another.

2. Other

• Diikuti Plural Noun (Tidak bisa berdiri sendiri, selalu diikuti noun): I want other pens.

3. Others & The others

• Pronoun (Tidak diikuti Noun): Others mango & The others mangoes (WRONG!)

4. The Other

• Singular Noun: I bought three mangoes. I ate two of them and I left the other mango for my sister.
• Plural Noun: I have five mangoes. One of them is rotten, but the other mangoes are good.

Note: Some, any, no, one + Other : We have no other vegetable exept cabbage.
